Detroit's own Penny Wells.... female R&B singer with a soulful sound for R&B audiences, but smooth enough for adult contemporary; sophisticated enough for adults, but sultry enough for younger listeners; strong enough in the face of heartbreak to appeal to women, but ravishing enough to nab the fellas. Wielding such broad appeal, Penny managed to release her long awaited first solo CD entitled "SHINE". This cd was written, produced and arranged by Al McKenzie, music director for The Temptations.
